A 89 years old, I read even small print without glasses (as long as there is enough light) and I drive well. An enviable condition since I read a lot (more on the computer screen than in books), work with math and, occasionally, draw portraits.
Probably part of the credit goes to my genes, but I had problems with my eyes and Prof. Cusumano solved them. In a decade and a half I have not only appreciated the vast and ultra-modern instrumentation he uses, but his modus operandi. Given my scientific background, I like to understand at least in general terms what my physical problems are and also how the treatments or interventions necessary to solve them work.
Prof. Cusumano explains, diagnoses and predicts the outcome of the treatments by correctly anticipating the final outcome. Over the years we have built a friendly and intellectual relationship.
